Mia's New Pool
We got Mia a pool for the deck to keep her cool this summer. She absolutely loves it - especially the naked part! She is without her helmet in these pictures because she developed a sore above her ear that needed to heal (the helmet has since been adjusted as well).
Mia's New Helmet
After almost a year of trying to correct Mia's torticollis and plagiocephaly through physical therapy, we've opted to get a helmet. She's had some trouble adjusting to it, but I think we are through the hardest part. The doctor's estimate she will wear it for 3 months, so it will be over before we know it.
Ashley & Jim's Wedding
The family took its first airplane ride together, to St. Louis for Ashley and Jim's wedding. Ashley is Michelle's cousin, so that makes Ashley Mia's 2nd cousin (we think - not quite sure). Anyway, Mia was a hit at the wedding, and everywhere else we went. She charmed fellow passengers on the plane, in the airport, and guests at the hotel. It was her first time meeting great uncle Ron great aunt Debbie, great uncle Kevin and his wife Hermie, and cousin Ashley and her new husband Jim. And it was really fun because Aunt Cathy joined us - and got to wake up at the 4 in the morning when Mia decided she needed milk (the 1 hour time difference threw her off schedule).
Hanging with the Ducks
Here are some pics of Mia hanging with our ducks. They live in the creek out back, but don't have names yet (suggestions are welcome). We got them as chicks when Mia had her Easter pictures taken with them (to be posted soon). Now they are huge, and very loud when hungry, which is all the time.

Dreaming of Jumperoo
Mia was watching the ceiling fan, and ended up rocking herself to sleep in the Jumperoo.
